BEIJING -- The Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Atmospheric Physics and Laoting County have reached an agreement to build an atmosphere and marine research station and an industrial base in this north China county.The current limited shore-based and island weather stations, floating stations, merchant ship weather report and aviation monitoring report cannot satisfy the scientific research demand, according to a report on the China Science Daily.
